Adventure
The Adventure genre within manga follows the characters travelling and undertaking an adventure or mission. This may be in a certain place, the other side of the world, or it can even escalate to the whole universe or even to other dimensions!
In this genre, the main characters love to explore. They venture into several different places, usually with a goal in mind, such as searching for treasure, exploring some new place, defeating a heinous villain, or saving the world. The Adventure genre is so broad and flexible that these manga can usually stretch to a huge number of episodes and can also extend into multiple genres, usually with action.
Examples of Adventure manga include Fairy Tail, One Piece and Hunter X Hunter.
